A picture paints a thousand words. I count it very blessed to meet Mr Shahrul’s family. His children are gifted to love the animals and they had showered so much love and tender care ever since they bring the “merdeka kitties” back with them after the Raya holidays. Mr Shahrul, though time schedule very tight and attached to an IT department with a leading bank, having to solve and troubleshoot problems, “on call” and bouts of training time table, is always there for the kids and kitties. He would bring the whole gang of his children to the vet and we met there and talked and discussed about Opet’s diarrhoe.Opet had been having diarrhoe and his stool has traces of blood. This is not a good sign especially for a little kitten. Opet was feeble and not eating too. Vet said that it could be feline parvo and a blood test was made, and fortunately it was negative. Little Opet immune system was low and hence need 2 weeks of antibiotics and other medicine as prescribed by the doctor and had to be on chicken diet. Such is the plight of little strays’ their immune systems not good enough. ( That was the fate of Bobok, Omel and Yunk Yunk too. They had passed on. )
Ever since Oyen and Opet under the care of Shahrul family, the two had to date progressed very well. Uptodate all is well and “saya berdoa semoga Tuhan bagi rahmat dan perlindungan atas jasa baik tuan” May God bless this wonderful family.
